Arrival: Meet and greet and Amman hotel
We will meet you at the airport or border and escort you to your hotel. (Overnight in Amman 4*)
Day 1: Jerash, Village Immersion, and a Homemade Bedouin Dinner
Start this morning with a visit to Jerash, one of the cities of the Roman Decapolis. Then head to a village on the southern shore of the Dead Sea to learn traditional skills. (Overnight in Bedouin tents)
Day 2: Camel Caravan to Petra's Back Entrance
This morning, your camels await you. A camel caravan will take you to the foot of a mountain, where a local Bedouin will escort you the rest of the way to Petra's magnificent Monastery. Spend the day exploring this world wonder. Dinner tonight will be served in a Bedouin home just outside of Petra. (Overnight in Bedouin tents)
Day 3: Dead Sea Rejuvenation
Relax and rejuvenate at the Dead Sea. (Overnight in 5 star resort)
Day 4: Seaside Relaxing and Departure
Spend the morning lounging on the beach or at one of the many pools. Checkout is at 12:00pm. We'll take you to the airport so you can depart for another destination or head home.
The above tour is an all inclusive land package.
The starting day represents your first full day in Jordan. Tour prices include transportation, lodging, most meals and entrance fees. Prices are based on double occupancy. Hotel single supplement is $150. Airport pickups and transfers within Jordan will be arranged at no charge for clients arriving and departing on the scheduled days.
International airfare to and from Jordan is additional. Engaging Cultures Travel will be happy to assist in your air ticketing.
