Head to Northern Jordan for a full day of harvesting olives with a Jordanian family on their farm. Learn about the importance of olives to local Jordanians, crush your own olives, and take a jar with you. This experience includes a local, traditional lunch.
- Olive harvest on a local farm
- Work side by side with a Jordanian family
- Share a traditional meal with locals
- Learn to prepare olives and take a jar home
Depart Amman at 8:30 am. Begin picking olives together at 10:00 am. Homemade, traditional lunch is at 1:00 pm.
After lunch we will split the olives we have just harvested and place them in containers to take home. You will be given instructions on how to make your olives taste just like the locals make it.
Arrive back in Amman around 4:30 pm.
