A full size Jordan tour.  Not only do you see all the classic sites, you’ll venture off the beaten path in this 9 day, culturally engaging itinerary.

Day 1 – Arrival

We will personally meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel.  (Overnight:  4 star hotel; Meals: none)

Day 2 - Ancient Amman

See the ancient ruins in the heart of the city before dining in a local hot spot.  (Overnight:  4 star hotel; Meals: B, L)

Day 3 - Jerash and Jordanian Cooking

Experience Jerash, one of the best preserved Roman cities in the world.  Spend the afternoon relaxing or exploring Amman.  This evening, you will learn how to cook a 4 course Jordanian meal.  (Overnight:  4 star hotel; Meals:  B, D)

Day 4 - Biblical Jordan and a Dead Sea Village

See the oldest mosaic map of the Holy Land.  Then on to Mount Nebo, where Moses saw the Promised Land. Descend to Bethany beyond the Jordan and the Baptism Site of Jesus.  From there, we drive the length of the Dead Sea to Ghor village, where we learn skills like making Arabic eyeliner and traditional bread.  A portion of your trip cost goes directly to the people of this village.  (Overnight:  Ammarin Bedouin camp; Meals:   B, L (light), D)

Day 5 - Classic Petra

Petra, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.  Experience the classic walk down the Siq and the breathtaking unveiling of the Treasury, made famous by Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. (Overnight: Ammarin Bedouin camp; Meals:  B, D)

Day 6 - Exclusive Petra

Trek to the exclusive back entrance of Petra on camels.  Hike the rest of the way to the Monastery with a Bedouin guide, a seldom traveled but awe inspiring trek.  This is our favorite way to experience Petra. Tonight, you’ll witness the desert sunset of Wadi Rum.  (Overnight:  King Aretas Bedouin camp in Wadi Rum; Meals:  B, D)

Day 7 – Otherworldly Wadi Rum

4×4 jeep tour across the dunes and the Mars-like landscape made famous by “Lawrence of Arabia.”  Then on to a sprawling resort on the Dead Sea.  (Overnight:  5 star resort; Meals:  B)

Day 8 - Dead Sea Rejuvenation

Spend a full day floating in the Dead Sea and relaxing in the spa or by your resorts many pools.  (Overnight:  5 star resort; Meals:  B)

Day 9 – Fly Out

Return to Amman for departure.  (Meals:  B)
